Davina Newell

President & Historian

 Hi, my name is Davina Newell. I am the solo ace of the Spring '21 line, Golden DevoTion. I am the Basileus (President) of the Nu Tau Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. I’m a junior at Hofstra University majoring in biology with a pre-med concentration. I’m from Queens, New York with a Jamaican background. Sigma Gamma Rho has made me a better person overall by constantly encouraging me to put my best foot forward. To be Rhoyalty is to be innovative, to be a leader, to be the greatest that you can be. I would not trade it for the world. EEE-YIPPPP!!!

Angela Constant

Vice President & Financial Secretary

Hi everyone! My name is Angela Constant. I am the Ace of the Spring ‘22 Line, TenaciouΣ DualitY, of the Nu Tau Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. I currently hold the office of Anti Basileus (Vice Presentation)  & Grammateus of the Nu Tau Chapter. I am currently a junior here at Hofstra on the pre-med track. I am majoring in biology and minoring in philosophy and biochemistry. I am involved in Strictly Stepping, Black Leaders Advocating for Change, and the Black Student Union here at Hofstra. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. continuously inspires me to put my best foot forward in my studies despite any hardships I may face. My organization motivates me to give back however and whenever I can in line with our slogan, Greater Service, Greater Progress. Most importantly, it has helped me grow closer to my circle of sisters who I can always count on. I am certain that throughout my journey as a Sigma woman, I will embody our values and also use them to better my community.

Ackeima Moulton

Secretary & Treasurer

Hello everyone! My name is Ackeima Moulton. I am the deuce of the Spring 2022 line TenaciouΣ DaulitΥ. I currently hold the positions of Anti-Grammateus (Secretary), Tamiochus (treasurer) and Parliamentarian of  the Nu Tau Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc. I am currently a junior at Hofstra University majoring in biology with a pre med concentration and minors in sociology and biochemistry. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has and still is playing a positive role in my journey to becoming the individual I aim to be. Being a part of this organization has allowed me to thrive to be a well rounded individual that aims to uphold the values of a Sigma woman—sisterhood, scholarship and service.
